"Simon Schmeing, the Senior Innovation Manager for Asia at Stephenson Harwood, has a distinguished career in driving technological advancements within law firms, including at Norton Rose Fulbright and Linklaters in Singapore and London. Simon has been instrumental in leading innovation teams, focusing on transforming operational models across key regions in Asia. He has successfully integrated cutting-edge technologies into legal workflows and fostered sustainable improvements in operating metrics across various practice groups. Most notably, Simon has spearheaded the integration of Generative AI tools, developing specific use cases that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of legal practices.

Beyond his professional achievements, Simon contributes significantly to the broader legal tech community. He was the Guest Judge at the SMU Legal Tech Hackathon in 2022, and was a Speaker at TechLaw.Fest 2022, where he discussed ""Legal Tech Implementation Asia vs. UK"". He also spoke at the City University of Hong Kong on the ""Impact of AI in the Legal Industry"" in 2024.
