Jonathan Voo is the Senior Manager of Innovation at JSM, with a multidisciplinary background in computer science, law, and accountancy, and a career spanning Europe and Asia. At JSM, he focuses on future-proofing the firm by optimising technological infrastructure, processes, and service delivery, with a key emphasis on generative AI applications such as document summarisation, translation, and intelligent review. He has led transformative initiatives, including the development of a mobile app for a global non-profit that turned a 50-page PDF into a multilingual, user-friendly tool for refugees and low-income families in Hong Kong.
Jonathan’s innovative work earned him a shortlist as Intrapreneur of the Year for driving cultural change and helping the firm adapt to better meet client and employee needs. Recently, he was appointed to the Hong Kong Department of Justice’s LawTech Development Consultation Group, contributing to discussions on advancing LawTech and strengthening Hong Kong’s position as a global hub for legal and dispute resolution services. Jonathan views this as a pivotal moment for the legal sector, where technology offers opportunities to improve access to justice, empower lawyers, and deliver better outcomes for firms of all sizes.
