Clara Wong is a forward-thinking Legal Counsel and operations expert with over 10 years of experience navigating the complex intersections of Law, Banking, and Technology. Currently serving as an in-house AI Lawyer for the Private Banking arm of UBS AG, Clara is at the forefront of defining how emerging technology and operational strategy converge to transform modern & innovative departments within the Organisation.
A passionate advocate for Legal Operations within the Business, Clara recently served as the moderator for the 2025 Inaugural CLOC (Corporate Legal Operations Consortium) Singapore Chapter Operations Excellence Roundtable. Her leadership during this landmark event helped galvanize the APAC legal community around a bold 2026 roadmap centered on building a robust regional competency framework and fostering ""hybrid human"" talent.
Clara is a vocal proponent for structural reform, championing the establishment of independent Legal Ops cost centres as she believes that by granting the function its own budgetary autonomy, organisations can accurately measure ROI and ensure that professional compensation is fairly benchmarked against the specialised expertise required for operational excellence.
Through her work with CLOC and her role at UBS AG, Clara is dedicated to building the infrastructure, confidence, and capability needed to make Legal Operations a premiere career path in the APAC region.
